Chris and Karla’s wedding at Yorkey’s Knob
Last weekend I had the pleasure of doing Karla and Chris’s Cairns wedding photography in a foreshore park at Yorkey’s Knob. The weather was perfect, although a little warm! The setting looked amazing amongst the tall paper bark trees with all the required COVID safe bits and pieces.
Karla looked stunning in her gorgeous dress and white sand shoes – a totally sensible choice for the ceremony location! She arrived in her brothers 1970’s, bright yellow Falcon. She was accompanied down the aisle by her sister and the cutest flower girls and page boy you’ve ever seen! The page boy being Karla and Chris’s son, Jordan. Karla’s brother Cliff walked her down the aisle to her waiting groom and gave her away.
The ceremony was performed by the lovely Leisel Pisani and before long Karla and Chris were pronounced “Husband and Wife”! After the ceremony all the necessary paperwork was completed before we took a few group photos of all the guests with the bride and groom. This was followed by photos of family and friends with Karla and Chris.
A few photos of Karla and Chris on their own and then they were off to celebrate with their guests! A hearty congratulations to Chris and Karla and thank you for asking me to be your Cairns wedding photographer – it was my pleasure!
