Tim and Simone’s wedding at Alamanda Chapel.
It was a beautiful day for Palm Cove wedding photography at Tim and Simone’s Palm Cove wedding last week at Alamanda Chapel. Friends and family traveled from all over to be part of their special day and help them celebrate their marriage.
I had heaps of fun photographing this gorgeous couple and their friends and family! There was loads of laughs and tonnes of fun!
I started with fun and games with Tim and the boys for their getting ready photos! Then I moved down the street to photograph Simone and the girls getting ready. Simone looked stunning in her lace gown and the colour of the bridesmaids gowns was just perfect!
When I arrived at the Chapel Tim and the boys were there greeting the guests and preparing for the brides arrival.
The ceremony was performed by Ben Kelly and it included lovely readings from Tim’s sisters. Vows and rings were exchanged and then they were pronounced Mr and Mrs! Hooray!
After the ceremony all of the guests gathered for a group photo on the deck at the back of the chapel, followed by family and friends photos with the bride and groom.
After all the formalities, the bridal party all piled into the Hummer Limo to head out for bridal party portraits. These photos required a shoes off crossing of a lovely cool rainforest creek and some rock climbing! Everyone did well and nobody got wet shoes! Then we found a cane paddock with lovely light and the just caught the setting sun. Photo shoot over, we headed back to The Bluewater for the reception.
The reception venue upstairs at The Bluewater is a great open place to have a wedding! Jacqui, the event co-ordinator did a fabulous job of organising everything for the reception. Danny from Millennium Weddings played the music and kept the speeches and other formal stuff running on time.
I stayed for the first dance then left everyone to party on into the night!
Congratulations to Simone and Tim and thank you for asking me to be your Palm Cove wedding photographer, it was fun!
