Gail and Robert’s Cairns wedding
Last weekend I had the pleasure of being Gail and Robert’s Cairns wedding photographer at their wedding at the Cairns Colonial Club Resort.
Friends and family gathered at the Resort to witness Gail and Robert exchange vows under the wedding gazebo in the rainforest garden. Gail and Robert’s attendants were their children, friends and family members and everyone looked fabulous all dressed up for the wedding! Especially the cute kids in their little suits and white dresses!
Gail was walked down the aisle by her Dad and the ceremony was performed by Pastor Brian from their local church. Vows were spoken, rings exchanged, paperwork signed and then they were husband and wife! After the ceremony I took a group photo from the balcony above the gazebo and wedding garden. Then we rounded up family members for photos with the bride and groom.
I took some photos with the bridal party before Gail and Robert and I headed off-site for some more photos with just the two of them. First stop was Centenary Lakes, we didn’t stay long though as were almost carried away by the mozzies! I’m still scratching! So we headed down to the Esplanade for some less itchy and more scenic photos! We got some great shots just as the sun was setting! Phew!
I delivered Gail and Robert back to the Colonial Club and their waiting bridal party just in time for them to enter the reception and enjoy the party with their friends and family.
Congratulations Gail and Robert and thank you for asking me to be your Cairns wedding photographer, it was a fun afternoon!
