Tina and Juliet’s wedding in Atherton
Last weekend Tina and Juliet got married and they asked me to do their Atherton Tablelands wedding photography. The weather wasn’t fabulous, but it was still a great day! The ceremony was held atop Halloran’s Hill and was performed by local celebrant, the lovely Penni Davenport.
Tina was walked down the aisle by her parents, preceded by her brothers. Juliet was attended to by her four bridesmaids, all dressed in gorgeous cobalt blue dresses. Juliet looked stunning in her sparkly princess dress and tiara and was walked down the aisle by proud family friend “Backhoe”.
Penni performed a lovely ceremony inside the glass walled function centre, which had been decorated by Sarina from Creative Touch Decorations, as it was a bit cold and windy to have the ceremony on the balcony. We did however venture outside for the group photo of everyone with Tina and Juliet after the ceremony.
Tina and Juliet exchanged vows and rings and then as Juliet is from the Philippines, a traditional Philippines wedding ceremony was held. Then Penni announced that Tina and Juliet were now married! YAY! With the paperwork complete and everything all offical now, it took some convincing to get the guests out onto the balcony for the group photo!
After the group photo with all of the guests we all nipped back inside to get out of the cold to take the family photos. Then it was back outside for the bridal party portraits overlooking all of the Atherton Tablelands. It such a great view from up there! We managed to get quite a few photos done before the weather closed in and it started to rain.
I said my good-byes to Tina and Juliet and left them to a big celebration with their family and friends at local restaurant, Nick’s at Yungaburra.
Congratulations Tina and Juliet! I am so pleased to have been your wedding photographer, thanks for asking me!
