Kairi and Neil’s Palm Cove Wedding
Kairi and Neil asked me to be their Palm Cove wedding photographer to capture their wedding ceremony last week. Last week it rained and rained and rained! BUT it did not rain on Kairi and Neil’s wedding ceremony, which was held on the beach front at Palm Cove. Hooray!
The lovely Aphrodite Anderson was the officiant they had chosen to perform the marriage. She did a wonderful job and under threatening skies, in front of around two dozen friends and family, Kairi and Neil were pronounced husband and wife. After the ceremony there were lots of congratulations, hugs and kisses! I arranged everyone in front of my ladder, pushed into the sand for stability, then I climbed to the top rung and precariously balanced myself in a position to photograph all of the guests with the bride and groom. This was followed by a variety of photos of separate guests grinning and posing with the bride and groom!
By now it had started to sprinkle with rain. We made our way to the car and drove down to the Palm Cove jetty to take some more cosy photos of just Kairi and Neil on their own. We did have to bring along the brollies this time and we did have to use them! Once again the ominous skies made a great backdrop!
After the photos I delivered Kairi and Neil back to Reef House in plenty of time to freshen up before the celebrations began!
Thank you Kairi and Neil for asking me to be your Palm Cove wedding photographer, what a great afternoon! Congratulations to you both and best wishes for a wonderful future together!
