Taylor and Ben’s Palm Cove wedding
As a Cairns wedding photographer I have the pleasure of photographing many weddings for couples from all over Australia and around the world. So, when Taylor and Ben chose me to be their wedding photographer it was lovely to be part of a local wedding. Taylor and Ben returned to their home town of Cairns to be married with all their friends and family attending.
The ceremony was held at the Alamanda Chapel and conducted by the irascible, local celebrant Wayne Rees. Taylor looked stunning in her figure hugging gown and was proudly walked down the aisle by her Mum. Shortly after, Wayne pronounced them to be husband and wife in front of almost 100 guests. The bride and groom were followed out the door for congratulations hugs and kisses on the chapel deck.
All of the guests gathered around for a group photo with Taylor and Ben, before we started on family photos.
We walked along the beach and around the Alamanda Resort taking photos of the bride and groom and their bridal party. Then we all piled into a dark blue stretch limousine and Rob drove us to some local locations for more photos. Back to Palm Cove jetty near sunset for a few, end of the day, beach photos and then we were delivered to the Reef House Palm Cove in time for the wedding reception.
At the reception there was dinner and dancing, speeches and cake cutting, before I headed home, leaving Taylor and Ben to party on into the night with the their family and friends.
Congratulations on your marriage Taylor and Ben and thank you for asking me to be your Cairns Wedding Photographer. It was such a fun day and I really enjoyed being part of it!
