Last week Bee and David eloped to Silky Oaks Lodge, which is about 30 kms north of Port Douglas. Situated in world heritage rainforest high above a crystal clear river, Silky Oaks is a luxurious getaway for couples.
Bee and David choose to be married by the Billabong under the watchful eye of an Azure Kingfisher! How appropriate! Natasha Kollosche performed a lovely ceremony which included many wonderful messages of love and good wishes from Bee and David’s friends and family. A traditional smoking ceremony was also part of their wedding and was performed by Juan from the local Kuku Yalanji indigenous people.
Once Natasha pronounced them to be husband and wife the fun with Bee and David began! We went rock climbing, tree climbing, beach walking and even stopped for an ice-cream! The next day we also did Trash the Dress! Standby for those photos in another post….
Congratulations Bee and David! Thank you for asking me to be your wedding photographer, it was such a fun day!
