What a magnificent day it was last Saturday for Melissa and Manny’s Port Douglas wedding! Friends and family traveled from Melbourne to witness their vows which were exchanged on the Terrace by the pool at Sea Temple Resort and Spa at Port Douglas.
The ceremony was preformed by celebrant Steven Brooks and included a butterfly release. A group photo in front of the pool with all the guests surrounding Melissa and Manny, was followed by photos with family and friends.
From the ceremony we headed out to the Port Douglas heli-port to board a Skysafari chopper for a private beach. Melissa and Manny enjoyed the first hours of their married life together climbing trees, rock hopping and walking along a deserted beach! It was fun! Bradley the pilot removed the doors from the chopper so we could take some aerial shots of Melissa and Manny on the beach below.
Back to the heli-port at sunset, we then headed up into the valley to Flames of the Forest where Melissa and Manny’s reception was to be held. We arrived a little before the guests and had some time to take some photos amongst the fairy lights!
The guests arrived shortly after us and were seated under a marquee in the rainforest. Melissa and Manny made their entrance and everyone was immediately invited to watch the cake cutting followed by some very enthusiastic dancing! The meal was amazing!
Congratulations to Melissa and Manny! Thank you for having me at your wedding and asking me to be your wedding photographer, it was a great pleasure!
