Friends and family witnessed the ceremony performed by Carla Papas. Sam looked stunning as she was walked down the aisle by her Dad. Sam’s three sisters and Matt’s daughter Kayla, made gorgeous bridesmaids and had fun doing it! Sam and Matt’s daughter Chloe was just the cutest thing ever in her little dress and pig tails!
After the ceremony, just as everyone was about to gather for the flower shower and group photos, the skies opened up and showered us with the just a sprinkle of rain! It didn’t last long and we continued on with the family photos anyway!
We all piled into golf buggies for a tour around the golf course with the bridal party for photos. Jennifer from MOD video’s joined me in a buggy and captured the action as we zipped around the holes, dodging golfers in their buggies!
I left everyone shortly after to enjoy their reception, also at Paradise Palms.
I really enjoyed photographing your wedding Matt and Sam, so thank you for asking me to be your photographer!
Below are a few of my favorite photos and a video of highlights of Sam and Matt’s wedding day. You may also like to check out their on-line album to see some more.
Last Saturday Scott and Emma were joined by their gorgeous baby girl and around 24 guests to be married over looking Palm Cove at luxurious Sapphire Ridge.
It had rained most of the day. The ceremony was to be held at 3pm on the timber deck with the ocean as a beautiful backdrop, but due to the rain it was decided to have it undercover inside the house. Luckily, Emma was running a little, as by 3.30 the sun was shining, the deck was quickly mopped and all was prepared for the ceremony on the deck!
Scott’s best-man sang and played guitar as Emma arrived on the arm of her Dad, who had traveled all the way from England! Leisel from Our Ceremony performed a lovely ceremony which included a reading from Scott’s Mum Deb. A group photo and family photos with the bride and groom on the deck followed the ceremony. The house is surrounded by rainforest and lovely gardens, so we took some photos around there and then headed down to Palm Cove beach for some more photos.
Thank you for asking me to share and capture this special day in your lives Scott and Emma, it was heaps of fun!

Saturday morning it was overcast and raining……..by the time 2pm Saturday afternoon came around the sun was shining and the sky was blue! Phew!
When I arrived at Dan and Anusha’s place the house was a hive of activity with Anusha’s parents, brothers and relatives all getting ready. Anusha looked stunning in her Sri Lankan traditional sari made from gold silk. Anusha’s Mum helped her with her jewellery, then Dan’s brother Nic arrived to deliver Anusha’s flowers. Anusha’s bridesmaid, Bernadette was also wearing a traditional sari which really fitted in with all the ladies! We took lots of photos with everyone, Anusha’s uncle was very helpful holding my reflector for me! A quick photo with Dan and Anusha’s gorgeous Border Collie’s before I headed down to the chapel to photograph Dan and Nic awaiting Anusha’a arrival.
Barbie Anderson performed a lovely ceremony at the Angsana Chapel at Palm Cove, with readings by both Anusha and Dan’s mothers. The paperwork complete, Dan and Anusha left the Chapel as Mr and Mrs! As they walked from the chapel the guests formed a guard of honor to throw petals for Dan and Anusha to walk through! A big group photo in front of the chapel was next, followed by family and friends photos with the bride and groom. The guests then headed down to the restaurant for drinks and canapes while we continued on down to the beach for photos.
After photos on the beach and palm tree lined esplanade, Dan and Anusha were transported in muscle car luxury, a fire engine red ’71 mustang convertible, to the Palm Cove jetty for more photos! Very cool!
Photos on the rocks and surrounds, then I left Dan and Anusha to enjoy their open top ride to their reception at Whitfield House.
What a great day! Thank you for asking me to be your wedding photographer Dan and Anusha, I really enjoyed being part of your special day!
Below are a few of my favorite images from their day. You may also like to check out Dan and Anush’a on-line album.
Dee and Peter were joined by family and friends at 2pm for their wedding at the delightful little chapel at the Cairns Tropical Zoo at Palm Cove.
The day started out overcast but cleared to a lovely afternoon. Dee looked stunning in her vintage style dress as she arrived right on time to be married to Peter.
Leisel from Our Ceremony performed a lovely ceremony inside the chapel which included two readings by family members. The paperwork done, Peter and Dee made their way down the aisle and outside to enjoy congratulations from family and friends. Everyone gathered in front of the chapel for a group photo with the bride and groom, followed by family and friends photos with Dee and Peter.
Dee and Peter had organised afternoon tea for their guests which included a mobile coffee van! A great idea and one I haven’t seen before. We joined the guests for coffee, taking some photos around the afternoon tea location. We then left them to it and headed down to the jetty at Palm Cove to get some more photos. It was a race against the big black cloud rapidly descending upon us from the ocean, we finished just as the rain hit and we all made a mad dash to the cars!
Thank you for asking me to be your wedding photographer Dee and Peter, you guys really had fun and it was my pleasure to photograph you! Below are a few of my favorite images from the day, you may also like to check out Dee and Peter’s on-line album.
What a stunning day it turned out to be for Samantha and Brendan last Wednesday! A small intimate ceremony, performed by Eloise Barker-Re and witnessed by close family and friends on the beach at Palm Cove. Samantha arrived with her Dad, glowing with happiness and excitement! After the ceremony we took some photos with family and friends and then Samantha and Brendan had a wander around the beach and clambered over the rocks while I burned up some pixels!
When we had finished the photo shoot everyone climbed aboard the Millaa Millaa bus for the return journey up the hill for the reception. Below are a few of my favorites from Brendan and Samantha’s wedding day. Check out their on-line album for more images from the day. Thank you for having me as your photographer Brendan and Samantha, it was a fun and relaxed afternoon!
Shirley and Oliver came all the way from very cold Germany to be married on Palm Cove Beach. It rained mostly the day before with storms in the morning, but by the afternoon it was absolutely glorious! We had a big blue sky, some fluffy white clouds and a slight breeze to keep us cool!
Wayne Rees performed the ceremony for Shirley and Oliver. Wayne’s daughter and I were witnesses to the marriage. Afterward a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate a toast to the newly married couple! The wine finished, we headed down to the beach for some photos with Shirley and Oliver. we also had a walk around the palm tree lines esplanade in front of Angsana Resort, then drove up to the Northern end of Palm Cove beach where we clambered around the rocks for some different and interesting backgrounds to the photos.
Thank you Shirley and Oliver for asking me to share and capture this special day in your lives, it was fun! Herzlichen Gluckwunsch an euch beide!

Jeff and Jodie were married at 3pm at the Blue Horizon Chapel at the Hilton Cairns on the 4th December. What a perfect day for a wedding! Blue skies, no rain and lots of sunshine!
Jodie looked absolutely stunning! Jeff wasn’t allowed to look out the window of the Chapel as Jodie was walked in by her Dad. Jodie and Jeff’s ceremony was performed by Leisel Pisani from Our Ceremony and included a naming ceremony for their gorgeous little girl, Lara.
A group photo on the grass outside the chapel followed the ceremony then we all moved indoors to take the family photos in the cool of the air conditioning! The foyer of the Hilton was a lovely cool location with a gigantic Christmas tree and a great big funky lounge to take the photos on! Just as we finished taking the photos Robert from Cairns Luxury Limousines arrived with the Superstretch limousine to whisk Jodie and Jeff away to Palm Cove for their photo session and reception at Paradise Palms.
When they arrived, Jeff and Jodie transferred from the stretch limo into the waiting tiny little golf buggies! We all piled into the other buggies and took a spin around the golf course, shooting photos along the way. My favorite location at the Paradise Palms Golf course is always the stone bridge. Some photos there and on the other side of the course and we were back right on time for the start of the reception.
I couldn’t resist taking a photo of Jodie and Jeff’s really cool cake! Another masterpiece by Leanne Rosetto!
Below are a few of my favorite images from Jodie and Jeff’s wedding day. You might also like to have a look at their on-line album of photos.
Thank you for asking me to capture this special day for you Jodie and Jeff. It was my pleasure and lot of fun too!
Deb and Mark enjoyed a lovely small and intimate ceremony inside the Angsana Resort Chapel at Palm Cove. They were joined by four friends and two gorgeous little girls! One of them being their daughter, Charlotte. Charlotte is a happy, chatty and bouncy little girl and a joy to have around! She had two of Mark’s mates keeping her entertained on the beach while we took the photos!
Gayle Dean performed the marriage, which included a wine ceremony. After the ceremony we took assorted photos outside the chapel with Deb and Mark and their friends. Then we headed out to the Esplanade and the picturesque avenue of palm trees where we took some photos before moving down onto the beach.
Deb and Mark, thank you for asking me to be your photographer…it was a real pleasure! I enjoyed being part of this special day in your lives.
Below are a few of my favorite images from the day. You might like to check out Deb and Mark’s on-line album to see some more.
Dave and Tanya came all the way from England to be married on the beach at Palm Cove. David and Francetta at Palm Cove Weddings did some of the arranging for Dave and Tanya’s wedding. As you can image, arranging a wedding from the other side of the world is a big job! On the day the weather was kind to us with some interesting skies, but no rain!
Vivian Reid performed a lovely ceremony and in no time at all Dave and Tanya were Mr and Mrs! David produced a bottle of sparkling wine after the ceremony which he passed to Dave to do the honours of opening. After wine and a chat Dave, Tanya and I went for a walk along the beach and around the rocks taking photos. Then we jumped in my little car and headed up to the avenue of palm tress in front of Angsana Resort to take some more photos there.
Tanya and Dave, thanks for asking me to capture your special day here in Cairns, it was my pleasure! Best wishes for a long, happy and adventurous life together!
Below are some of my favorite shots from the afternoon. You can also check our Dave and Tanya’s on-line album.
Krystal and Steve came from cold Melbourne to be married on a lovely sunny ( if a little windy) day, beach front at Palm Cove. Friends and family gathered on the beach to witness their marriage ceremony performed by Elaine Charlton. Poems were read by family members and a very cute niece and nephew presented the rings to Steve and Krystal during the ceremony. Krystal was glowing with happiness from the moment she walked down the aisle! She even waved and said hello to everyone before the ceremony got under way.
The paperwork complete, everyone gathered for a group photo with the ocean for a backdrop. This was followed by photos with family and friends. Krystal’s nursing friends had traveled up from Melbourne as well and had made a special effort with some particularly daggy plastic jewellery which they bought at the airport as a joke!
We walked down to the avenue of palm tress in front of Angsana Resort for some photos and then we jumped in my car and headed down to the jetty. We had a walk along the beach and clambered over the rocks to get some great shots. There was another wedding there but we had almost finished by the time they had arrived. I drove Krystal and Steve back to the Casmar where they celebrated at their reception with their guests.
Thank you for asking me to be your photographer Krystal and Steve….it was fun! Below are a few shots from the day, some of my favs! You can check out the rest of Krystal and Steve’s photos at their on-line album.
