GBR Helicopters flew us all out there on Friday afternoon. The weather was glorious, the water azure blue and the tide at just the right height. Leisel Pisani from Our Ceremony officiated at this very special day. Roger and Luisa’s parents were the only guests, as well as a few sea birds! (oh and the chopper pilots as they couldn’t go and have a coffee while they waited to “drive” us back!).

Champagne after the ceremony then a walk around the cay for some photos. Roger just happen to have his fishing rod neatly stashed in the chopper and cast a line to try his luck……none!

Congratulation and thank you Luisa and Roger for a wonderful afternoon, in a wonderful place with wonderful people!

Gayle Dean performed a lovely ceremony on the beach in a small alcove of oak trees. Bec read a poem for Kane and Laura and Jane delivered the rings….Lachie was busy building sand castles!

Thank you to Kane and Laura for asking me to be your wedding photographer, it was a pleasure! Best wishes to you both and Lachie for a long and happy life together.

Wayne Rees performed a lovely ceremony in the shade by the beach opposite Reef House on the Esplanade at Palm Cove. A poem was read by Emma and the ceremony was witnessed by Scott and Allison. After the official paper work, Wayne pronounced Angela and Daniel to be husband and wife! Hooray! Congratulations, hugs and kisses all round! I took a group photo of the wedding guests from atop my trusty ladder, before we headed back across to the Resort to take the family and friends photos.

Uncle Bill then kindly drove the bridal party down to the Palm Cove jetty where I met them for their photoshoot. Just as we arrived a rainbow appeared on the horizon over the ocean! How romantic! I asked Angela and Daniel to “hot foot” it down to the boat ramp so I could grab a shot of them with the rainbow before it disappeared……see below!

Some photos under the jetty and on the beach, then we carefully crossed the newly formed creek to access the rocky outcrop near the jetty. Some more rock climbing and photos before Angela and Daniel headed back to enjoy a much needed champagne and delicious dinner reception with their guests at the Reef House.

Stacey and Wayne were married by celebrant Anne Spragg in the lush gardens behind their villa at Sea Temple Resort and Spa at Port Douglas.

After the ceremony Anne was kind enough to offer to look after the youngest whilst we made a quick dash to the beach for some photos.

It was a glorious morning, with not a cloud in the sky! The beach was deserted and the rain stayed away!

After the ceremony, formal paperwork and a glass of chilled champagne to celebrate, we headed down to the beach for some photos. By the time we had finished the photo shoot Martina and Adam were all warmed up and ready for a swim.

Fully dressed in their wedding attire, Adam and Martina took a spectacular plunge into the Resort pool…ahhhhh that’s better!

A glorious sunny morning, it was heaps of fun….Faith and Paul really got into the “trashing”! So much so, that at the end they really did throw their wedding clothes into the “trash can”!
